Michelle Petrovski joined the team at Counsel Family Lawyers in 2017.
Michelle completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Psychological Science at La Trobe University in 2016. Michelle successfully completed an Honours Thesis In Family Law, titled “Repairing the Cracks in the System: A Consistent and Coordinated Approach to Risk Assessment of Family Violence”. She has completed family violence training and has previously worked as a Family Violence Intervention Order Paralegal at the Melbourne and Heidelberg Magistrates’ Courts.
Michelle completed her Practical Legal Training at Leo Cussen Centre for Law and was admitted to practice in 2017.
Michelle developed a keen interest in Family Law after volunteering at the Family Court of Australia and working on Family Law matters as a Paralegal at a Community Legal Centre.
Michelle currently volunteers regularly as a Night Service Lawyer at Darebin Community Legal Centre.
