Teagan McEwan

Teagan completed a double degree of Law and Commerce at Southern Cross University (QLD) and Curtin University (WA).  Teagan completed her Practical Legal Training at College of Law in Queensland.

Teagan began working in Family Law whilst studying in Perth, Western Australia and has over 11 years experience within the Family Law realm. Teagan has worked within multiple jurisdictions including, Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.  Teagan practices across all areas of family law and has a particular interest in family violence and complex property matters including trustee in bankruptcy matters.

Teagan has recently finished a secondment in Commercial Litigation with a Commercial Law firm in Melbourne where she worked on complex commercial disputes and interpretation, trustee in bankruptcy matters, shareholder and partnership disputes as well as quasi criminal building order matters.  This stands her in good stead to understand the complications that come with family law and commercial transactions. As many of our firm’s clients know, family law does not exist in a vacuum but at the crossroads of complex family situations often with commercial and financial ramifications

When Teagan is not at work, she is out and about on adventures with her French Bulldog trying to chase the little sun that Melbourne has to offer, when compared to her native Queensland.
